Fill up on fresh water at the Bradwell Spring in Vredehoek
The Bradwell Spring is open 7 days a week, from 5am to 9am
The Bradwell Spring in Vredehoek is one of Cape Town’s best kept secrets. The Newlands Spring became so popular that a second spring water collection point had to be built by the City of Cape Town. And so, the Bradwell Spring was born. So save on your water bill, and fill up those containers with Cape Town’s freshest spring water.
Note: This water is not treated, so the City of Cape Town cannot guarantee that it’s safe for drinking.
OPEN SEVEN DAYS A WEEK
The spring, on the corner of Upper Buitenkant and Ludlow Street (next to the Yeoville Sports field), has four taps and is open every day of the week from 5am to 9pm.

Keep up to date with Cape Town’s dam levels.
After you’ve fetched your water, there are plenty of other things to do this week.
This is what you can get up to during lockdown level 3.
