Stomp For Change at We <3 Psy: Down The Rabbit Hole
Dance with compassion and donate to the affected families of Imizamo Yethu Township!
Are you ready to stomp for a worthy cause? Well you’re in luck! Project C.H.A.N.G.E, in partnership with We <3 Psy, will be hosting a philanthropic party on Saturday, 5 August 2017, at The Mercury Live.
Project C.H.A.N.G.E is an enterprise that aims to raise awareness about the needs of underprivileged and homeless people in and around the Mother City. As part of their annual winter charity campaign, their 2017 objective is to focus on the families affected by the Imizamo Yethu Township fire.
With winter in full swing, not many could have predicted the damage that would come along with the chilly season. From flash floods to fires, and it is at such times when we need to show more compassion and kindness to the less fortunate and those affected by the harsh weather conditions. The organizers of We <3 Psy: Down the Rabbit Hole have given people a chance to open their hearts, and cupboards, to donate non-perishable food, clothing, blankets and shoes to the families of Imizamo Yethu informal settlement in Hout Bay.
So come out in numbers and join the night of dancing and socialising but also donating to those families in need. There will be two dancefloors to treat you to the sounds of some of the smoothest DJs in the city. You can also expect pocket-friendly drinks specials.
