Soulful Sundae at Shimmy Beach Club
End off the weekend with a soulful RnB shindig for charity
Summer afternoon parties at Shimmy Beach Club have become a staple for many Capetonian revellers and socialites. The sizzling venue offers everything you need, and more, for a perfect ocean-side fiesta under the African sun. This November, the premier events venue will host a massive afro-soul and RnB gathering to raise funds for The Lungile Mtshotwana Foundation. The Soulful Sundae party kicks off on Sunday, 6 November 2016 at noon.
Some of our country’s finest soul and RnB artists and DJs will take to the stage to bring banging beats and thick bass lines that will get you in the mood for a Sunday groove. The entire party, hosted by 5FM’s Thando Thabethe, will be broadcast live on Metro FM’s Sunday Soul Session, so let’s show South Africa what a party in the Mother City sounds like. There will also be a fashion show by David Tlale, showcasing his elaborate designs and elegant outfits.
The beneficiary of the event, The Lungile Mtshotwana Foundation, aims to develop and support the livelihoods of underprivileged citizens by restoring their dignity and self-worth, so support this cause by spending a Sunday afternoon at the beachfront venue with some of the country’s best performers and artists to boot.
