The new year is nearly upon the Mother City, and the folks at the Park Inn by Radisson Cape Town Foreshore have the perfect party in mind. So come and celebrate the end of 2016 and the arrival of 2017 in style with the stunning late-night shindigs happening at the chic and ambient property on Saturday, 31 December 2016.
There are two options on the cards for revellers, but both end off with a stunning toast at Harald’s Bar & Terrace, the sky-high 11th-floor bar with a beautiful view of the surrounding city.
The first option, which includes a five-course sit-down meal in the on-site RBG Restaurant, is ideal for those on the hunt for a lovely low-key eating experience. During dinner, the mellow background music will provide a soothing NYE soundtrack, and after, guests get to head upstairs for the clinking of glasses.
The second, more festive option treats visitors to a full evening at Harald’s Bar & Terrace, where DJ Shylo will be unleashing beats until the wee hours of the morning. Hot and cold canapés will be circling throughout the night, and there will be additional live entertainment to boot.

Starter:Poached salmon with beetroot, watercress and horseradish served with toasted feta focaccia strips and balsamic vinaigrette |

Mains: Herb crusted lamb rack served with potato dauphinoise, honey and black pepper carrot puree and berry jus OR Caramelised butternut, baby parsnips, feta and pumpkin seed risotto with parmesan cheese OR Chicken supreme stuffed with fig, goat’s cheese and spinach served with wild mushroom, mashed potato and bearnaise |
Desserts: Amarula infused crème brulee served with banana crumble and peppermint jelly |
Drinks: Midnight Glass of Bubbly |

Cold Canapés: Parma ham and mozzarella bites, smoked salmon and cream cheese volauvents, pear and watercress salad, cheddar and vegetable quiches, spiced grilled beef salad with baby tomato and green crisp |
Warm Canapés: Mini cheese and avocado burgers (chicken, beef, chick pea), apricot and chicken kebabs with peanut butter sauce, beef and onion kebabs with red pepper sauce, beer battered jalapeno poppers, crumbed potato and prawn tails, grilled vegetable skewers with basil pesto sauce |
Desserts: Lemon meringues, chocolate and caramel éclairs, mini chocolate cakes, vanilla cake pops, apricot frangipani tarts, tropical fruit tartlets, orange jelly cups |
