The Arrows concert at Zula Bar
Two-woman band from Durban return to rock Cape Town
The Durban-based duo, The Arrows, is set to take to Zula Sound Bar’s stage for the Cape Town leg of their Neutrics Tour on Friday, 13 July 2012.
Pam de Menezes and Christie Desfontaine are two trendy brunettes armed with nothing more than a drum and a keyboard, but their catchy melodies will have you crooning along– you’ve likely heard their radio hit “Love Song” - in no time. Formed in 2006, these two spirited and incredibly brilliant musicians have been changing the way music is written, recorded and ultimately played. Drawing inspiration from jazz singers like Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday and songwriters like Bjork, Joni Mitchell and Moloko, this unorthodox duo have a truly eclectic and unique sound.
Zula Bar is known for its good food, great music and diverse crowd and with three areas to choose from in the bigger, better version of this Long Street institution, there’s no telling where the night will take you.
Tickets are available for R70 p/p through Webtickets.co.za, get yours to avoid disappointment.
