Old Mutual Kirstenbosch Summer Sunset Concerts
Bring the whole family, a picnic and a bottle of wine and enjoy some of South Africa's best live music while the sun slips behind the mountain
Kirstenbosch Summer Sunset Concerts are a fantastic way to spend a Sunday sunset in Cape Town. The open-air amphitheatre concerts cater for all music tastes, from jazz to folk to rock to big band Swing, and is a delightful way to enjoy the surroundings and unwind.
Part of the charm lies in the warm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere, with music-lovers picnicking on the soft grass banks that slope downward towards the stage.
The concerts take place every Sunday beginning in November and ending the following April.
