Hermanus Times Kalfiefees
Make the most of South Africa’s cultural scene at this annual seaside festival
The highly anticipated cultural festival, The Hermanus Times Kalfiefees, is back – once again bringing attendees a jam-packed line-up of awesome events. The Afrikaans-centred festival, which runs from Thursday, 7 to Sunday, 10 August 2014, offers visitors some of the best local productions – and more!
Guests can expect not only some of the biggest and brightest on the local theatre, music and comedy scene, but also kiddies shows, an art exhibition, a charity walk and a Women’s Day brunch.
And if that’s not enough, there’s always the quaint town to explore – not to mention the chance to spot a whale or two! (In fact, the festival takes its name from the whale calves born in August).
So, whether it’s a cultural escapade or merely a retreat from the Mother City you’re after, we guarantee it’ll be a whale of a time.
