With a weekend filled with fun events, Boschendal are officially in Easter-mode. Take a break from the city for the holiday weekend, and head to Franschhoek for Boschendal’s Easter picnic, or their traditional Easter buffet.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM EASTER WEEKEND AT BOSCHENDAL

Easter Egg Hunt at Werf Picnics: Let the kiddies play in the sun this Easter, while you relax with a picnic on the lawns of the estate. Order a basket for two, and enjoy the yumminess while your littlies paint eggs, ride ponies, and of course hunt for hidden egg-citing treasures. Picnic baskets cost R360 for two people. A single basket is R195, and a kiddies ticket is R150. Boschendal encourages you to bring your own blanket, tables and chairs to make your picnic as comfy as you like.

Traditional Easter Sunday Lunch at The Werf Restaurant: Enjoy a three-course meal for you and a loved one, with this extra special share menu. No, this is not an excuse for your significant other to steal all the food, instead you get a menu designed specifically, by Executive Chef Christiaan Campbell, to be shared and enjoyed together. Starting at 12pm at the lovely Werf Restaurant, the meal costs R450p/p. 

Traditional Easter Buffet at Rhone Homestead: This Easter, Boschendal is offering a traditional lunch every day of the Easter weekend. Loaded with holiday favourites, this lunch buffet will delight and satisfy all members of the family. The lunch seating is at 12pm, every day from Friday 25 - Sunday 27 March 2016, at the Rhone Homestead. The meal is R295p/p, and booking is essential.
