Bangfest Music Festival in Cape Town
Get down to groovy tunes at this three-day outdoor extravaganza
Looking for your passport to summer? Well, the first-ever Bangfest is the event you need to add to your social calendar. This outdoor jol spans three days and has 30 acts bringing beats, laughs and a summer vibe to Nekkies Resort in Worcester from Friday, 4 to Sunday, 6 December 2015.
This inaugural festival came about as the popular Southern Suburbs groove spot Bang Bar decided to take the party vibe to the great outdoors.
Get that camping gear ready and be prepared to get down to hip hop, house and EDM tunes for three solid days in a breathtaking location. The sizzling line-up features some of Cape Town’s finest beatmakers, producers and performers. Attendees can look forward to performances by Haezer, Hyphen, Dean Fuel, Dunn Kidda and more set to get dancefloors pumping.
Those wanting to attend this thrilling outdoor event can stay at the camping site, which has showers with hot water, as well as braai facilities. Make a weekend of it and celebrate summer with your mates!

- From Cape Town take the N1 past Paarl.
- Go through the Huguenot Tunnel. 14km after tunnel turn right towards Rawsonville.
- After 6 km turn right into Rawsonville.
- At stop street turn right towards Worcester. Follow the road for 12km. Look for signs.
