A Very Gandalf’s Halloween Party
Get HORROR-ble this Halloween at Cape Town’s most loved rock venue
Halloween, when you’re older, is a time once a year to get dressed up and drink with a group of friends. It’s no longer acceptable to go to people’s homes demanding sweets at twenty-eight years old, so you’re going to have to think of something else. As Halloween this year falls on a Monday, your party plans are definitely going to go down on the weekend before.
Gandalf’s, in Observatory, is hosting a Halloween party to end all Halloween parties. Dressing up is, of course, a prerequisite and nobody likes the person dressed normally with a name tag saying ‘Dave’. Go home Dave, you’re ruining the fun. On Saturday, 29 October 2016 there will be drink specials galore, music and awesome prizes up for grabs.
Those drink specials though. Shots will cost a measly R7, beer will set you back (barely) R12 and shots of caramel vodka or bubblegum tequila are only R5. If you can remember it, this is going to be awesome.
The prizes include jug giveaways, to further intoxicate you, and even tattoo vouchers. The big competition is best dressed, so don’t be like Dave, and actually try. It’s Gandalf’s - dress as a Hobbit. Too tall? A tall Hobbit. Get creative people, your next tattoo could be on the horizon.
