A Coalescent Launch between Perfect Strangers: Ceramic and Jewellery Exhibition
Gold, silver and the sultry organic shapes of the surf collide when two artistic strangers collaborate
Masters of organic shapes, pretty pottery and beautiful things; two of Cape Town’s favourite creatives are joining forces to present this collaborative exhibition on Friday, 11 December 2015 at Haas Design Collective on Buitenkant Street.
Those familiar with Dayfeels will know that Amor Coetzee, the creative brain behind the brand, is a multitalented lady with a gift for making irresistible art across numerous mediums. Part illustrator and part ceramicist, this exhibition will showcase her new homeware range for 2016, and all the pieces will be on sale for savvy collectors with an eye for simplicity.
Gisele Human is the gifted human behind WAIF, which is a jewellery brand synonymous with clean lines and curved contours that translate into exquisite hair pieces and necklaces. Matching the restraint and simplicity of the Dayfeel’s collection, it’s easy to see why the two perfect strangers are, in fact, a perfect fit.
The Coalescent launch promises to be a sublime summer night out, with wine, art, and live music by Medicine Boy and Joshua Grierson.
