Children’s Magic Spectacular Show
Prepare to be whisked away to a land of make-believe and sleight of hand
Perhaps Roald Dahl said it best when he said, “Those who don’t believe in magic will never find it.” The College of Magic (Mzansi’s answer to Hogwarts) is presenting yet another bewitching performance at the Roxy Revue Bar at GrandWest Casino on Saturday, 10 October 2015.
Billed as the Children’s Magic Spectacular, this fantastical act is chock-a-block full with unbelievable illusions ideal for children aged five years and over. Your little ones will love the wit and wizardry of some of South Africa’s top children’s entertainers who will conjure up serious fun and alchemic antics for over an hour.
“Ginger Ninja” Matt Gore will also be making a special appearance. Hilariously happy with his hair colour and an expert at all things magical, Matt is an award-winning magician with over ten years of international experience. With unconventional trickery and buckets of charm, he is a natural entertainer and will certainly be one of the highlights of the Spectacular Show.
He’ll be joined by multi-talented entertainer Colin Underwood and 2012 Western Cape Junior Magician champion Luzuko Bedi as well as plenty of other top notch performers on the bill.
The evening includes plenty of gravity-defying juggling acts, side-splitting hilarious physical comedy and fast talking puppetry showcased alongside unbelievable magic acts - from levitating assistants to dazzling dove production and more, it's bigger and better than before.
Housed in a gorgeous, old Victorian building steeped in history, mystery and enigmatic allure, the Cape Town College of Magic was founded by David Gore in 1980 with the mission of teaching performance arts to aspirant entertainers from all walks of life. It’s a one-of-a-kind, Non-Profit teaching organisation, which today houses over 200 students and serves as South Africa’s magic headquarters.
