V&A Market on the Wharf
Treat yourself to a truly unique food experience at the Waterfront’s gourmet bazaar
The V&A Market on the Wharf, which has quickly entrenched itself as one of Cape Town’s ultimate gastronomic destinations, is open all weekend long, between 10am and 5:30pm, rain or shine.
Peruse the stalls of selected traders passionate about their fresh, local, organic and homemade produce or tuck into the mouth-watering array of artisanal food from across the globe. There truly is something for everyone.
Enjoy the newly opened outdoor beer garden, cosy up with friends at picnic tables indoors if the weather’s poor, see what’s happening at the on-site demo kitchen and let little ones explore the kid’s entertainment area. Not to mention, every Saturday and Sunday between 1pm and 3:30pm, the vibey bazaar features live entertainment by acts like Slow Jack and Newton Theron.
The Market is conveniently situated adjacent to Nobel Square between the Two Oceans Aquarium and the V&A Hotel (with parking just 20 metres away).
