Tonight is the Night at Maynardville Theatre
Come and see this romantic musical at this outdoor theatre in the Southern Suburbs
With the summer season rumbling to a start, outdoor gigs and theatre are a must for anyone in the Mother City. And if you consider yourself a keen fan of pizzazz, song and dance, you’ll be happy to hear that you can get a good dose of home-grown talent and musical flavour with this locally produced musical about the highs and lows of love. Get your picnic gear ready and book your spot for Tonight is the Night at the Maynardville Theatre from Thursday, 4 to Saturday, 6 December 2014.
Filled with local stars like Capetonian born and bred talent Nur Abrahams and fellow singers Taz Baker and Cindy Gibbons, the musical promises to take audiences on a journey filled with the trials and tribulations of romance. Nur Abrahams is a stalwart of the Capetonian music scene, appearing in multiple productions, like the highly successful concert Music Alla Kaap, as well as opening for British reggae pioneer Phil Fearon while he was on his South African concert earlier this year.
So plan that perfect date, pack that picnic basket full of treats and bring a blanket for a snuggle while listening to home-grown musos strut their stuff.
