1.    Ten Pin Bowling

Perfect for rainy days, Ten Pin Bowling is a social activity that’s loads of healthy fun for the kids. Try the Let’s Go Bowling facility at Stadium on Main in Claremont, or head out to Grand West or N1 City, two other places to go Ten Pin Bowling in Cape Town.

2.    Eagle Encounters Raptor Rehabilitation Centre

Take the kids to encounter regal eagles, wise old owls and a unique assortment of other birds of prey at the Eagle Encounters Raptor Rehabilitation Centre at Spier Wine Estate near Stellenbosch.

3.    Two Oceans Aquarium

The Two Oceans Aquarium at the V&A Waterfront is home to over 3000 creatures of the sea, including cape fur seals, sharks and penguins. Kids will have oceans of fun at the Two Oceans Aquarium, getting to meet Aquadot, a funky fishy friend, and taking part in brainteasers, games and other activities.

4.    Davy Dragon at the Planaterium

Davy Dragon’s Guide to the Night Sky is a wonderful edutainment experience for children in Cape Town. This is a fantastic chance for kids aged 5-10 to visit the Planetarium in Cape Town and learn about the wonders of space.

5.    MTN Science Centre

The MTN Sciencentre at Canal Walk is South Africa's first world-class interactive science centre. It is a place where the kids can have fun while learning about scientific discoveries and technological innovations.

6.    Penguins in Simon’s Town

Take a trip out to Boulders Beach in Simonstown and let your kids make friends with the hundreds of cute penguins that live here. Maybe they’ll join you for a swim in the sea!

7.    Noordhoek Farm Village

Noordhoek Farm Village offers a range of free kids activities including craft days, magic shows, clowns, face painting and enchanted parties. There’s plenty to keep the grown-ups occupied too!

8.   Ice Skating

The Olympic-sized ice rink at Grand West Casino is a very popular facility. The Ice Station rink is open to the public at day and night and ice skates can be hired. This is surely the coolest fun activity in Cape Town!

Visit this luxurious paradise near the Boland town of Klapmuts and see beautiful butterflies, exotic spiders and even a few scary scorpions. There’s also a gift shop and the Jungle Leaf Café.
