Coworking is the new normal for everybody – period. For digital nomads and bleisure travelers who want a space that blends their work and lifestyles; freelancers and remote workers who love to have an interactive creative space; and entrepreneurs and businesses who need fully serviced offices, from boardrooms, to kitchens and printers.

Ideas Cartel, one of the largest flexible office space providers in the Western Cape across five locations, from the Waterfront to the winelands, has all of the above and then some.
They know that to meet the needs of this diverse high-performing workforce, coming from around the corner and abroad, is to give them convenience, flexibility and good-looking co-working luxury spaces at a fair price.
“We’re meeting the new way of work with ingenuity, creativity, and flexibility – the same qualities humans have employed to overcome change for years,” says founder of Ideas Cartel, Schuyler Vorster.

That means offering coworking spaces on a pay-as-you-use, weekly or monthly basis. You can get the flexibility of a drop-in-and-go for an hour or two, or get a fixed desk and make it your own.
There are also furnished private offices of up to 400 sqm for those who want to make Ideas Cartel a permanent home for their employees. That gives you a desirable business address with access to meeting lounges, meeting rooms on every floor and boardrooms that seat from four to 20 people – enough space to make it a conference venue.
There are communal kitchens; of course wifi, but also, back-up power; bathroom and shower facilities at some locations; and cleaning and courier services.

Ideas Cartel coworking properties are upmarket and smartly designed – most of the locations have boutique hotels perched atop the property, for seamless blurring of work and life.
The buzzy Old Foundry’s industrial interiors are plumped up by the plush decor. Ideas Cartel Claremont (near Cavendish in the southern suburbs) is classic and homey, with its leather couches, floor-to-ceiling windows and bespoke wooden desks.
Ambassade in the winelands is intimate with its vintage wooden tables, leather chairs and a quiet courtyard snuggled between the office rooms and boardrooms.
