7 reasons to visit Park Inn by Radisson Cape Town Foreshore

Last updated: 23 January 2023

You might think hotels in city centres are only for travellers and businesspeople; the Park Inn by Radisson Cape Town Foreshore will quickly prove you wrong. While this unassuming hotel in the heart of the CBD is a treat for tourists, it has lots to offer locals too – from dog-friendly rooms and Friday night DJs to a hidden rooftop bar and food specials. Find seven good reasons why this a hotel that ticks all the boxes.

IT’S A SHORT WALK TO OFFICES + THE CTICC

The Park Inn by Radisson Cape Town Foreshore is conveniently located a few minutes from the Cape Town International Convention Centre and a short stroll from many of the CBD’s major office buildings. So if you’re in town for work, meetings or a conference, you’ll be able to get to and from the hotel on foot – the best way to soak up some city vibes.

THERE’S A WEEKLY RIBS BUFFET SPECIAL

This ribs special is making Tuesdays a definite work-from-town day for locals: all-you-can-eat ribs at the hotel’s ground-floor restaurant, RBG Bar & Grill from 12 to 8pm. That’s a buffet of slow-cooked pork belly ribs, basted in smokey sweet BBQ sauce, to feast on for lunch or dinner, every Tuesday

THERE’S A ROOFTOP BAR WITH VIEWS + MORE

Take the lift to the 11th floor on most evenings and you’ll find music, excellent Cosmos (and a long list of other cocktails), tasty bar snacks, amazing views of Table Mountain and the CBD and a lively mix of locals and tourists enjoying the vibe at Harald’s Bar & Terrace.

THE ROOMS ARE DOG-FRIENDLY

Hotel guests no longer need to make plans to have their furry friends looked after when they’re travelling. The hotel rooms here have water bowls, plus dogs are allowed to join you at Harald’s Bar & Terrace if you’re just there for drinks.
