Seeking individuals to fill job vacancies in the Mother City
Harambee Youth Employment Accelerator is a Nonprofit Organization (NPO) who connects employers to potential employees. They bring employers in contact with entry-level young individuals who have been locked out of the formal economy, who have high-potential and who are interested in working. There are hundreds of immediate Cape-based opportunities in the retail, hospitality and call centre sectors that need to be filled. The organisation is currently urgently looking for hundreds of young Cape-based candidates, so reach out to them today or share their details with someone looking for work.
They have placed more than 35,000 young South Africans into permanent jobs across more than 300 South African employers since inception in 2011. From teaching candidates time-management skills, communications skills to work-readiness skills, Harambee has provided eager job-seekers with the expertise to get and maintain a secure and permanent job.
While unemployment rates among the youth remain at 37,1%, Harambee, continues to open doors of opportunity to deserving young South Africans. The organisation has traditionally placed matriculants without tertiary education, however, there are an increasing amount of requests for new graduates as well.
“With our extensive skills and experience in supporting young people, we’re aiming to bring 500,000 young people closer to work over the next 5 years. Candidates between 18 and 34 are urged to apply as soon as possible on Harambee.mobi to avoid missing out on these exciting opportunities.” Josh Jansen - Cape Town Operations Manager quipped.
Interested employers in the region who would like to partner with Harambee can learn more at Harambee.co.za, contact them on +(0)21 812 2300 or visit the branch at 2 Long Street, 6th floor, Cape Town. Candidates can apply for free using their cellphones on Harambee.mobi
