Ideas for any team; small, big, in-office or remote
Last updated: Wednesday, 15 October 2025
We’ve handpicked year-end party ideas for every kind of team (many of which we’ve tried). Think laser tag in the Winelands, an Amazing Race around the Waterfront, themed casino night, beach braai cook-off and a virtual murder mystery. And if you’ve got a tight budget, there’s still lots to choose from: Korean BBQ, karaoke night, beer tastings and tuk-tuk tours.
At fable, there are cocktails that rain, release fog, and even come with handcuffs. And the food is just as good. Depending on the size of your team, you can book a table, the VIP room (up to 15 people) or the whole venue. If you book out the venue, you only need to pay a minimum spend at fable on Bree Street.
How to book: Up to 6 guests, book online. For more than 6, email info@fablecocktailbar.capetown
Cost: Classic cocktails from R80. Signature cocktails from R170. Book the venue, from R30 000, you get venue exclusivity and DJ for five hours included
We loved: Castle of good hope (topped with Fanta Grape foam) and the uniondale ghost (it has popping boba)
