The Galileo Open Air Cinema Friday Movie Nights
Get your dose of classics, dramas, action movies and more at these outdoor summertime showings
From Bohemian Rhapsody to Dirty Dancing – film fanatics get to sit back, relax and enjoy killer movies every Friday night at various venues, rotating between the Waterfront’s Battery Park, Century City, Meerendal Wine Estate and Steenberg Farm in Tokai. Plus, there is a special Valentine’s Day screening of About Time.
Throw in popcorn, picnics (and of course, the stunning locations), and the screenings definitely trump showings in a regular four-walled theatre.
Doors open from 6pm – it’s best to get there early to secure a comfy spot – and the movies start after sunset.
