This is a teambuilding idea your team will actually like, and will keep going back to, like we do. Groups of up to 54 per session solve clues in next-level immersive rooms and beat the clock to escape (even 100+ people can play if you choose the Amazing Race). Plus, it’s a favourite for birthdays young and old.

CORPORATE FUNCTIONS IDEA

Your team has one hour to escape (or 75 minutes if you take on Marble). Crack codes, solve challenges and beat the clock before time runs out. The challenges test various skills, from puzzle-building to maths and geography, and you may learn some new things, like how to work with a periscope.

There are six themed rooms to choose from: Shipwrecked, Torpedo, Cursed Treasure, Old Hotel, Escape Plan, and Marble, which feels like you’ve stepped into Avengers. 

Plus, it’s not just escape rooms. Just like the TV show, HintHunt’s Amazing Race will have you speeding across the V&A Waterfront.

WHY WE KEEP GOING BACK

We’ve played every single HintHunt escape room (and even the Amazing Race). Fun, teamwork and communication are key, and you need each other to solve the mystery, which is why HintHunt’s rooms are so good for bonding with your team. 

The challenges are a fantastic equaliser. Everyone plays a role and gets involved – our founder crawled under the bed to find a clue, while our junior writer solved the 6-digit code for the final escape. 

It’s also a great way for colleagues who don’t usually work together to strengthen their bonds. Combine the head of operations with your intern, and you might be surprised at how well they click and solve clues together.

EPIC FOR BIRTHDAYS, TOO  

While the escape rooms are fantastic for corporate celebrations, birthdays work too. Even children as young as six can play (with an adult). If you’ve got teens that are superhero fans, they’ll love the Marble room.
