Tapas in a courtyard + join plate smashing events
Last updated: Monday, 4 July 2022
The main dining room at Santorini depicts a street style taverna with its street signs and greenery covering the walls. The upper level has a large feature wall painted with a sea view, a wooden boat mounted to a side wall, and blue and white flags crisscrossing the ceiling. Plus, join a plate-smashing event every month.

Santorini hosts a “kefi” (loosely translates to the “Spirit of Greece”) evening, every first Friday of the month. The main dining room is cleared to make room for an evening of plate smashing, which is a tradionitial Greek custom. You pay per plate, which is added to your bill. There’s no limit to the amount of plates.

A wall of wine bottles, back lit with blue lights, and a chandelier are the backdrop to the bar. Choose your seat in the outside courtyard lit with fairy lights, or in the cosy dining room, where you can wind down after work or catch up with friends over daiquiris, beer on tap or Greek ouzo.

Try the Santorini Tapas Platter (for 2 or 4 people), which has dolmades, calamari tentacles, fried saganaki, hummus, tstatzki, keftedes, pita bread and more. There are vegetarian options too, and, of course, baklava or home-made Greek yogurt.
