It’s time to work up a sweat and have fun doing so with the run, crawl and walk obstacle course, Runstacle. Runstacle is a 4km trail run featuring 10 obstacles. It is suitable for anyone from 5-years-old and upwards.
What’s good about it is the fact that you don’t need to have ideal fitness levels to enjoy it. Run or walk and complete the obstacles in-between for a fun morning.
Runstacle takes place at Ostrich Ranch about 25km outside of Cape Town from 8:30am and costs R50/p. After the easy obstacles, enjoy some breakfast and coffee for sale at the restaurant on-site.
The family event was started for people who have always been interested in obstacle courses but who were not able to necessarily keep up with the pace it required. The Grind Fitness and Events brings Runstacle to anyone, whether extremely fit or not with them stating that “if you can walk, you can runstacle.”

HOW IT WORKS
Young and old gather for a morning of fast-paced fun or relaxed trotting. There are easy obstacles on the 4km trail run, which won’t leave you gasping for air but rather getting some sun and fun.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN RUNSTACLE
Your trail run will consist of 12 obstacles with a secret one only revealed on the day:
