Cape Town's 7 things to do this weekend

Queer trivia, a beer festival, a hike up Kloof Nek and more

Latest update: Tuesday, 21 July 2026

There’s a hike with a proper payoff view, a market made by and for its own community, and an afternoon spent painting botanicals with a curated drink in hand – and that's before the beer festival or the queer trivia even come into it. Here are the most unique things on offer in Cape Town this week(end).

K-WAY brings Trail Together back to where it began, sending a group up Kloof Nek’s stone steps for a 4.5km climb with an amazing view. Date: Saturday, 25 July. Registration at 7.30am for an 8am start
Cost: Free to register on Webtickets
