First Thursdays is back: head to town for art, drinks, and more

Updated: 2 September

First Thursdays officially returns to our streets on 3 September. Experience the first pan African LGBTQI exhibition at Nel Gallery or find inspiration in Abe Opperman’s summer exhibition. Top it all off with a glass of wine from Leo’s Wine Bar.

Why wouldn't you want to spend First Thursday at a hidden speakeasy? Step into Honest Chocolate Café, and maybe grab a sweet treat on the way through to the Mediterranean-style courtyard. Here you'll find The Gin Bar, long-standing meeting point for First Thursdays. Sip on delectable gin cocktails while you unwind and start your weekend one day early.
