Learn the sensual and sassy Kizomba dance, or just join for the party, as Kizomba Events South Africa takes over The German Club 24–25 May 2019 for an entire weekend dedicated to the African dance at the Intensive Kizomba Weekend.

WHAT IS KIZOMBA?
Many think that the Kizomba is a Latin dance, but it actually has its roots in Angola. In fact, it’s often referred to as the “Angolan Tango” (or as we’ve come to call it, the Angolan Lambada). With grinding, gyrating moves and a whole lot of rhythm required – you can’t be shy when it comes to this groovy jig.
WORKSHOP AND PARTY
Enter as a couple and take part in the workshop where you’ll learn the “Urbankiz” and “Tarraxa” styles of Kizomba from the 2018 World Champions in both styles, Marion and Jo XVI. “Urbankiz” is danced to RnB and is much slower than the traditional Kizomba. “Tarraxa” is more intimate and is danced to slower music. You can also buy tickets just for the party, which takes place on Friday and Saturday night.
