SWIM WITH A SHIVER OF COPPER SHARKS 

Gansbaai is known as the great white capital of the world, and there are also many other shark species there. Swim with schooling bronze whalers (also known as copper sharks) – they grow up to 3.5 metres long and it’s not unusual to have up to 30 around the cage. 

And while you’re out looking for sharks, you’ll also come across a lot of other aquatic life, like whales and dolphins (sometimes in big pods). It’s worth noting that you’re most likely to see great whites in winter.

Diving with sharks in their natural habitats is one of the most thrilling experiences you can imagine. You’ll dive from a 12-metre custom-designed, sea-cabin-cruiser catamaran, built to industry specs for safety and also recently refurbished.
