Hillcrest Estate presents Elvis
A free Elvis concert? Thank ya, thank ya very much
This year as part of the Durbanville Wine Valley’s Season of Sauvignon, Hillcrest Wine Estate will be rocking out at the Quarry with an Elvis show by Jacobus Brink who has been an Elvis impersonator since the tender age of 5. The venue is an absolute stunner, set in an unused quarry with walls of blue rock that reflect off the damn below it.
Bring your picnic blanket and umbrella for a fun filled day of wine, seafood and live music on Saturday or Sunday. Remember to pack the soccer ball and cricket bat for the children while you enjoy our Sauvignon Blanc and live music.
Food will include prawns, sushi, roosterkoeke, chicken and beef sosaties, boerewors rolls, cakes & bakes and cupcakes which the children can ice themselves. Picnic baskets will also be on sale. Picnic baskets must be pre-ordered.
For the kids there will be a face painter, jumping castle and cupcakes which can be iced and decorated on the day. Come join our award winning winemaker Graeme Read both days for vertical tastings of our Sauvignon Blancs at R100p/p.
There will be wine-tasting at the Quarry for R40p/p which includes your tasting glass.
Please note: no alcohol can be brought on to the premises but there will be a beer tent and plenty of vino ready and waiting.
Remember that the whole of the Durbanville Wine Valley will be putting there best feet forward here's whats happening at De Grendel Wine Estate and Nitida Wine Estate. Remember all of the farms are a convenient 15 min drive form Cape Town and are all withing a 10 minute drive radius of each other.
