Last updated: Friday, 20 March 2026
Easter egg hunts are a fully fledged family affair. That’s why we’ve found some of the sweetest spots for your kids to hunt and for you to have fun. There’s a scavenger egg hunt at a bird sanctuary, heritage exhibition, and more, as well as ideas for the Easter long weekend. Which hunt are you joining?
For Intaka Island’s annual Easter hunt kids can search for clues and find eggs across the island, get an Easter-inspired face painting, and if you’re lucky enough to find him, grab a picture with Captain Feathers. There are four 60 minute slots and kids between ages 2 and 7 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Plus more Century City events to discover.
Date: Sunday, 5 April; 8am, 10am, 12pm, 2pm

It’s aimed at teaching kids about fairness and how choices matter (they’ll receive fair trade chocolates at the end). It’s an annual family weekend taking place over Easter, and packed with a lineup including an incense making class, kids corner, laughter yoga, tree planting and more. See how we’ve unpacked Reforest Fest.
