How to celebrate Easter in Cape Town

Party on a rooftop, play in a giant inflatable maze and more

Last updated: 28 March 2023

Whether you celebrate Easter or not, it’s hard not to be joyful during this time of year (hello, long weekend!). There are plenty of ways to celebrate and enjoy your weekend – whether you want to party on a rooftop, explore gardens with the kids or see an iconic South African band.

SPEND THE WEEKEND AT A WINE FARM

Rhebokskloof Wine Estate has tons of events planned for the Easter weekend. On Friday, Sunday and Monday, families can treat themselves to a picnic by the lake, magic shows, petting zoos, an Easter egg hunt and a meet-and-greet with the Easter Bunny. There will also be the two shows by the internationally acclaimed Schönbrunn Palace Symphony Orchestra of Vienna on Wednesday and Saturday. Find more details about Rhebokskloof’s Easter weekend itinerary.

Date: 5 April - 10 April 2023
Cost: Dependent on activity
