Kaapse Stories from the Mother City at The Rockwell Theatre
You may not be singing ‘kumbaya’ around a bonfire but this interactive dinner theatre will certainly get you and your coworkers humming in harmony round the dinner table. Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday (as well as most other days, depending on the demand) The Rockwell Dinner Theatre stages the musical revue Kaapse Stories from the Mother City. Guests will be dazzled with a humorously relatable look at Cape Town’s colourful history, told by the brave few who’ve survived it. Accompanying the charming musical production is a delicious four-course meal, including a buffet-style main course and welcome drink (sparkling wine or orange juice) upon arrival. The Gallivanting Goose
Forget about ending the year with a bang, and opt instead to bid your colleagues farewell with an adventure! The Gallivanting Goose’s app-driven scavenger hunts in locations around the city make for one of the most fun and interactive ways to end the working year. Choose from a variety of packages, put your game face on and get moving to earn the highest score using a combination of strategic, tactical, navigation and plain old common sense skills! We know you like eating out… but we guarantee this beats another dull company dinner. Standard games start at R450/p and include the use of a fully loaded smart device for navigation.

Stardust
Want to ring in your half-century milestone with some classy, table-dancing fun?  Consider booking seats at the Woodstock-based eatery Stardust. Famed for its theatrical dining experience, the restaurant gives a stage to talented Mother City performers who tackle hits made famous by the likes of Etta James, Miriam Makeba and Adele.  The charismatic and energetic entertainment (which often results in patrons dancing on reinforced tables) is complemented by a North African and Mediterranean-inspired menu and makes for a top-class dinner and show celebration.  Performances start at 8pm every night and can continue well past midnight, so the company can expect a night of unadulterated merriment.  Bookings are essential, and it is possible to book for 180-200 guests, assuming there is space of course.
