Kirstenbosch lies 13 km from Cape Town city centre.

From the city, take De Waal Drive (M3) in the direction of Muizenberg, at the first traffic light intersection turn right (southwards) into Rhodes Drive (M63) and follow the signs to Kirstenbosch.

The Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden in Cape Town is famous for beauty and diversity of Cape flora on display against the magnificent backdrop of the eastern slopes of Table Mountain.

Kirstenbosch gardens only grow indigenous South African plants, and the estate is over 528 hectares of diverse Fynbos flora and natural forests.

Ideal for picnics with friends and family or leisurely strolls on Sunday afternoons, Kirstenbosch is also a popular destination amongst locals in the summer for the Kirstenbosch Summer Sunset Concerts taking place annually that takes place every Sunday during the summer season in Cape Town.
