The folks at Two Oceans are as flexible as an octopus when it comes to organising a special occasion. Whether it be a corporate celebration, birthday party, conference or anniversary; the only limits are set by your budget. Basic equipment (AV equipment, furniture, cutlery, crockery and glassware) comes standard with a booking, which also includes free access to the aquarium until 6pm for events planned during the day. The team at the underwater wonderland can also provide:

Function Venues at the Two Oceans Aquarium

AVENUE at the Two Oceans Aquarium
As an extension of the Two Oceans Aquarium, AVENUE is a bespoke conferencing and event venue that offers a vast space over two levels for bigger conferences and events. This inspiring venue looks out over the V&A Waterfront Marina and, from here, you can also look directly into the Aquarium’s stunning I&J Ocean Exhibit while participating in team-building, conferencing, or enjoying a celebration or launch.
Capacity: 350 cinema / 220 school room / 350 seated (no dance floor) / 300 seated (with dance floor) / 650 cocktail
Great for: Conferences, presentations, meetings, lectures, exhibitions and expos, product launches, parties

Tranquility
Nothing can be more serene than watching the gentle ebb and flow of the Kelp Forest Exhibit through the four-metre high window in the Tranquility room, which boasts glowing blue light and flashes of silver from the fish. This venue is just perfect for small groups looking to have a more intimate celebratory meal or pre-dinner drinks and has a bar that can be stocked to order. Available for mornings and evenings.
Capacity: 25 seated (no dancefloor) / 24 boardroom
Great for: Small parties, board meetings, break room for conferences

I&J Ocean Exhibit
The I&J Ocean Exhibit is a majestic space offering views of marine life through a vast seamless window. Gentle rays glide by and turtles steal the limelight as they invite you for an immersive underwater experience through a full acrylic tunnel.
Capacity: 160 seated (with dancefloor) / 180 seated (no dancefloor) / 350 cocktail / 200 cinema
Great for: Small and large parties, product launches, speaker evenings, gala dinners

Predator Exhibit
This venue offers breathtaking views of the aquarium’s collection of ragged-tooth sharks. Watch the misunderstood creature and come to appreciate their docility. The atmosphere is right for both intimate and boisterous events. Only available after closing time.
Capacity: 100 cinema / 120 seated (no dance floor) / 90 seated (with dancefloor) / 250 cocktail
Great for: Cocktail parties, intimate dinners, speeches and lectures

The Whole Aquarium
Rent out the entire Two Oceans Aquarium and let guests mingle and explore the galleries of enchanting underwater sea creatures for a unique event. The possibilities are endless with what can be done in this diverse venue – you can set aside tranquil sit-and-relax areas, construct vibey dance floors or arrange cosy dining spaces, all within the ever-entertaining underwater wonderland. Only available after closing time.
Capacity: Minimum 200 – 1500 max for a cocktail party
