One of the keywords describing a night out in The Kalk Bay Theatre is intimate. The small audience is wrapped arround the stage, which gives the theatre a living room atmosphere. Intimate also applies to the open-plan restaurant on the upper-floor, which has a cozy family kitchen feel.

The menu, a thee-course meal, changes with each production and is loosely linked to the theme of the show. At the Kalk Bay Theatre the starter and the main course are served before the show, and the desert and coffee afterwards.

The Kalk Bay Theatre is not licensed at present so please bring your wine. No corkage is charged.

Shows run for four to eight weeks in the venue. Performances are from Tuesday to Saturday night. Matinee performances can be arranged.
