The Rockerfellas bill themselves as Cape Town’s number one rock mash-up party band, and we are inclined to believe them. On Friday, 23 June 2017, you’ll be able to decide for yourself when they hit the stage at Quay Four at the V&A Waterfront for a night of nostalgic hard rock tunes and more guyliner than you thought possible.
Quay Four has been delighting diners for years, and has become somewhat of a local institution providing tourist and residents alike with delicious food and fairly priced drinks. They have a selection of beers on tap, and in Cape Town, that is an incredible plus. They offer Black Label, Castle Lite, Hansa Pilsner, Peroni, Mitchell’s, Stella Artois, and some local craft beer. Their menu features delectable classics, like pizza, burgers, and of course, enough seafood to sink a ship.
If you went to the 2017 edition of Beerfest, you’d know how awesome the Rockerfellas are at playing to a large crowd, but if not, you will just have to take my word for it. It could have been the copious amounts of beer I had consumed, but their music was the perfect background to the festivities. They specialise in classic rock mash-ups. Now that may sound strange, but imagine what happens when Queen meets Eric Clapton; I’ll give you a clue - magic. The stage will be filled with musical men, all dressed in glam rock rags with big hair, big glasses and even bigger voices.
ENTRANCE TO THE 2017 ROCKERFELLAS CONCERT AT QUAY FOUR AT THE WATERFRONT
There appears to be no charge to enter the event, but you will need to make a booking at Quay Four for dinner to make sure you have a table. If you’d like to make a booking, please contact Quay Four directly on +27 (0)21 419 2008, or send an email to info@quay4.co.za.
