Pull through to Hope street’s Evol nightclub for an evening of mismatched genres that you’d definitely want to experience live on Sunday 16 June 2019 (Monday is a public holiday).
WHO’S HEADLINING?
Port Elizabeth’s “Punk Fusion” band, Undead Generation, will be making a stop in Gardens for one night on their mini Cape Town tour. They’ll also be playing at the Scary Canary on Long Street on Saturday 15 June.
The punk rockers have shared the stage with international acts such as Comeback Kid (Canada), Ashes (Belgium) and Vuvuvultures (UK). They’ve also played with local acts such as Straatligkinders and Truth And Its Burden.
JAZZ AND ROCK MISMATCH
They’ll be joined by Port Elizabethian jazz group, Quarantine, as well as alternative rockers the Coastal Clones – whose music ranges from modern grunge rock to stoner rock – these genres may be polar opposites, but they all have groove in common, and you’re bound to feel this too.
CAPE PUNKS JOIN THE FRACAS
Lat Patrollie, a Cape Town Afrikaans punk group, will also be sharing the stage with these Nelson Mandela Bay boys. They’ll be opening for the legendary Fokofpolisiekar at the Barnyard Theatre later in June, and promise an unforgettable live performance.
TICKETS TO UNDEAD OR ALIVE
Tickets cost R40pp at the door.
