Reach For a Dream Golf Day
Bust out that nine-iron to help make a child’s dream come true
Tee off for a good cause at the fourth annual Reach For a Dream Golf Day at the Rondebosch Golf Club on Friday, 11 April 2014.
Held in aid of the well-known foundation that grants wishes to children suffering from life-threatening illnesses, the charity fundraiser invites golfing pros and amateurs to play an 18-hole game in four-person teams (points come from combining the best two scores among the four team members) at the prestigious green in Cape Town. The tournament package for the day also includes a goody bag, prize-giving dinner, raffle, auction at the club’s halfway house and, of course, the opportunity to make a difference in a young person’s life.
Reach For a Dream is devoted to helping South African children from the ages of 3 to 18 fulfil their wishes as they fight through long-term sickness, like cancer, cystic fibrosis, leukaemia and various blood disorders. Founded in 1988, the organisation, through birthday parties, spa days and shopping sprees, has made dreams come true for little ones who don’t have the time or health to enjoy their childhood. The funds raised at the Golf Day will go towards supporting the NGO’s efforts.
ENTRY FOR THE REACH FOR A DREAM GOLF DAY
Entry for the tournament costs R3000 per four-ball at R750 per player. Packages that include a hole sponsorship and four-ball entry are available for R4300.
Companies are also invited to sponsor a hole for R1500 or donate prizes and goody bag items. A prize will be awarded for the most interactive hole and the following packages are available for sponsorship and branding:
