Rick’s Cafe has not one, but two daily Happy Hours: 3pm to 6pm and 10pm till midnight. The prime spot at Rick’s is the covered rooftop terrace with two TV screens and an extensive cocktail menu. The downstairs bar also boasts two TV screens, along with 500 liquor options. Plus, when the rugby isn’t on, you’ll see the 1942 classic, Casablanca, being screened. Owned by South African rugby star Bob Skinstad and friend Dougie Boyes, The Toad in the Village is made for sports fans, by sports fans. The bar has five screens, a beer garden, affordable pub grub and lager on tap. You can get anything from lamb vindaloo to butter chicken, a variety of pizzas and burgers, plus the special Toad Ribs (made of pork, not toad).

You might not think that a hotel in the city is a great place to watch rugby, but Park Inn by Radisson Cape Town Foreshore has got something special up its sleeve. Rands Cape Town is a popular bar, entertainment and grill spot, serving traditional South African cuisine with the best vibes.
