Enjoy sensational music all summer long with a range of events at The Oude Libertas Amphitheatre in Stellenbosch. From December 2017 until March 2018, a variety of local and international artists will grace the stage of this open-air theatre to bring you stellar performances.
If you are looking for a place to just relax and revel in the magic of music and enjoy the tranquillity of the surrounds then an evening at Oude Libertas is just what you and your family need. From Christmas Carols with Richard Cock to the sweet instrumental sounds of Sterling EQ, just the line-up is enough to really whet your appetite for these events.
What’s an outdoor event without a basket of delicious delights to nibble on? Be sure to order a picnic basket, filled with wholesome treats and snacks, to enjoy at the Sunday events.

A LITTLE HISTORY
The Oude Libertas Amphitheatre was built in 1977 in Stellenbosch. The space is set against the Papegaaiberg and seats 430 people. The classic design and half-moon shape, combined with the fact that it was built on a hill surrounded by trees, makes this a popular venue for events like music concerts. The past 40 years has seen many local and international artists grace the stage to bring you top-class performances on gorgeous summer days… and nights too!
Tickets are available at Computicket.co.za. Alternatively, call +27 (0) 21 809 7473/7380 or email theatre@oudelibertas.co.za for bookings and details. The lawn area opens at 4pm for every event, so come early and get your spot.
Please note: The events are wheelchair friendly and you can secure your parking spot in advance by booking on +27 (0) 21 809 7380. The theatre staff will personalise each parking spot as per individual reservations.
