Only Fools is a laid-back, unpretentious bar with decor as simple and neat as its menu. Find unpretentious burgers, sides and wine by the glass (there are 10 to choose from). It’s also so cosy, complete with comfortable couches and heaters, it’ll feel just like home.

YOU’LL LOVE THE CHILLED VIBE

Only Fools focuses on bringing people together to relax. You won’t find fancy marble counters or expensive drinks here, it’s an easy-going, welcoming space where you can come as you are. The furniture is primarily Balinese and helps create a homey atmosphere. The rattan chairs, paired with leather couches and wooden tables, are all one-of-a-kind and bought on Facebook marketplace.

There’s also a cosy lounge area, overlooking the bar, where you can see photos of the owner’s parents and their friends – it unpacks the exciting lives of this generation, from their wedding day to lazy days on the beach.

MEET NEW PEOPLE + LISTEN TO LIVE JAZZ 

Only Fools is a place where people ask your name - join the long table and make new friends (it has space for 16 people) or sit at a table for four with your besties. It’s also the perfect place to relax on a Sunday afternoon from 3pm, when there’s live jazz performed by young, local talent. Bonus: it’s pet-friendly.

ORDER SIMPLE FOOD + WINE BY THE GLASS

At Only Fools the menu is short and simple: There are only three burgers (beef, chicken or vegan patties, served on potato buns) and five sides, including chilli poppers and garlic knots. There are 10 wines available to order by the glass, but if you’re not a wine lover, there are other drink options, too, such as beer and cocktails.
