Musica e Parole at Oude Libertas at Stellenbosch

Expect fantastic musical performances together with poems in English, German and Afrikaans at this Cape Classics event

This performance will feature musicians Stephanie Krug (soprano), Verena Fischer (traverso), Katharina Suske (recorder, oboe), Franz-Peter Fischer (violin), Sara Birringer (violin), Mathias Feger (viola), Hans Huyssen (violoncello), Andrew Cruickshank (harpsichord) and Hansjörg Haasis (double bass), performing the works of Tomaso Albinoni, Georg Friedrich Händel, Georg Philipp Telemann and Antonio Vivaldi.

The Cape Classics are a set of live concerts of classical music and a cultural exchange between South Africa and Europe, which takes place each February/March, when the famous Cape grapes are harvested.

The Cape Classics concerts offer a wide range of European classical chamber, piano and vocal music and presents concerts in South Africa, performed by outstanding artists with a magic appeal.
