Capriccioso at Vergelegen in Somerset West

This Cape Classics features the works of composers Johann Friedrich Fasch, Georg Friedrich Handel, Henry Purcell and Georg Philipp Telemann

Musicians Stephanie Krug (soprano), Verena Fischer (traverso), Katharina Suske (recorder, oboe), Franz-Peter Fischer (violin), Sara Birringer (violin), Mathias Feger (viola), Hans Huyssen (violoncello), Andrew Cruickshank (harpsichord) and Hansjörg Haasis (double bass) will perform at this Cape Classics concert.

The Cape Classic concerts are a set of live concerts of classical music and a cultural exchange between South Africa and Europe, which takes place each February/March, when the famous Cape grapes are harvested.

Cape Classic offers a wide range of European classical chamber, piano and vocal music and presents concerts in South Africa, performed by outstanding artists with a magic appeal.
