Southern Rights regular sight in Cape Town outside whale season
All blue Mondays turn to be bright and shiny Mondays when seeing an enormous whale's tail from the corners of your eyes.
All blue Mondays turn to be bright and shiny Mondays when seeing an enormous whale's tail from the corners of your eyes, splashing around on the ocean.
Despite the whale season, from September to December, is long gone, whales are still a regular sight around the Atlantic suburbs of Cape Town and the rest of the Peninsula.
Again CapeTownMagazine.com happened to see a mighty whale. We decided to go for a boat ride to have a closer look at the giant of the sea, and thus we had our 'private whale watching tour'.
The sight of a Southern Right Whale in the waters close to Greenpoint and Mouille Point is always impressive and it makes your day always special. Even these notorious blue Mondays!
Last year 300 to 400 Dolphins were spotted right outside Greenpoint on the
Atlantic coast of Cape Town, and CapeTownMagazine was right in the middle of this splashy crowd.
