Win exhibition prize to a value of R50 000 (Entries close 20 March - competition date: 8 April 2017)
Last Update 16 March 2017
Discover the Mother City and all her hidden gems with Amplify ImageQuest team, and have your work shown in a professional gallery. This South African first event is a team based challenge, brought to us by Amplify Studio in partnership with Orms is taking place on 8 April 2017. The event will be bringing big brands like Canon, Nikon, fuji, Leica, Sigma, Tamron and GoPro together.
On the 8th April, teams representing different camera brands will compete against the clock to crack clues that lead to beautiful Cape Town locations. Photographs of each location will be edited and handed over to the Amplify-Orms team. They will print, frame, curate and hang an exhibition of these photographs in Amplify's beautiful gallery the very same day.
Following the event, the doors to the studio will open to friends and media where work will be viewed, judged and auctioned off. Proceeds from the auction will go to funding the education of young photographers trying to break into photography as a career (through a programme called Amplify AIR).
Now, here is what's up for grabs; the team who wins the event will be awarded with a week long curated exhibition at Amplify Studio in 2017. All printing and framing of your work will be sponsored by Orms. This prize is valued at R50 000.
Enter now as team entries close on Monday. All details can be found here: www.amplifystudio.co/pages/welcome-to-amplify-imagequest
