It’s 1865 in post-civil war America, a group of travellers are on board a train heading to Mississippi when a gang of bandits derail the train. Later, the body of one of the passengers is found. Clues begin to appear and suspicion is cast on everyone on the train. Did the bandits kill Lord Phillip Chatterley, or is the killer sitting amongst you? Find out on Friday 31 August at the mystery murder night at Fork restaurant.

Fork invites you to join an evening filled with blood, sweat and tears in the Wild West. The restaurant will transform into an old abandoned train where you and your dinner companions will be left to follow the clues and solve the mystery of who Lord Phillip’s killer is. However, don’t expect an easy, laid-back evening. There will be plenty of red herrings to distract you and clues you’ll need to unravel.

Along with the evening entertainment, Fork is laying out a spread to die for. There will be a five-course set tapas meal, which includes beef fillet on croutons, puff pastry parcels with sautéed mushrooms, Moroccan lamb meatballs and seared tuna with Tatsoi salad. And somewhere in the mix, there’s a chocolate cake.

TICKETS FOR THE 2018 MURDER MYSTERY NIGHT
Tickets cost R405/p and include the five-course tapas set menu. You can get your tickets via www.bepartofthemystery.com. The top secret characters who play a role in the murder will be emailed on 24 August.
