Max Hurrell – the DJ behind South Africa's favourite lockdown song, Zol – is playing live at La Parada on Bree for First Thursdays. Plus, to make your First Thursdays even better, dive into La Parada’s delicious Spanish-inspired tapas special.
WHEN PEOPLE ZOL AT LA PARADA
You won't want to miss a live performance from the DJ who not only entertained an entire nation, but beat Drake for the no.1 spot on iTunes charts just two weeks after he released his hit song, Zol. To add in even more entertainment, DJ Rene The Frenchman and Amigo Santana are sharing the La Parada stage with a banging set-list.
DIVE INTO A SPANISH-INSPIRED TAPAS TO SHARE
To sweeten the whole deal La Parada is running a delicious tapas special. Make sure to come with friends, because these dishes are perfect for sharing and you'll want to try it all. For the veggies, you should definitely try their tomatoes caciotta or the miso aubergine. And for the meat-eaters, you're in for a delicious field day. Do your taste-buds a favour and start with the beef short ribs and then simply work your way down the menu.
FRUITY COCKTAILS FOR THE WHOLE TABLE
The best time to visit La Parada is from Wednesday to Sunday between 4pm and 6pm. That’s when they're running a 2-for-1 Happy Hour special on their cocktails. Everything from the classic daiquiri and the La Parada margarita to Hendrick’s gin and tonic and the royal rum punch is on special.
TICKETS AND BOOKINGS
Entrance is free for anyone keen to join. If you’re keen for a bite to eat before things start you can make a reservation by emailing breestreet@laparada.co.za.
