Find the ideal indigenous plant for your garden for the rainy season ahead

Do you love plants? Have a gap in your garden that needs filling? Maybe you just want some tips on getting your avo tree to produce fruit. You’ll want to want to check out the Kirstenbosch Plant Fair on 4 and 5 May 2019.

THOUSANDS OF PLANTS
The Kirstenbosch Plant Fair presents the biggest range of indigenous plants in one place, with thousands of small trees, bushes, herbs and flowering plants, carefully selected from a variety of top local growers, including Kirstenbosch itself. You’ll find the perfect plant for your garden, just in time for the rainy season.

TIPS AND TRICKS
Get gardening advice from plant gurus, on anything from the best soil for planting to manipulating plants to grow or sprout and helping plants survive the windy winter.
You can also shop a range of garden-related products on sale and tuck into some tasty food and drinks on your shopping break.

PLANT DETAILS
Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens will release the full list of plants that will be on sale closer to the day of the event, so keep an eye on their Facebook page.

ENTRY TO THE PLANT FAIR
R10 gets you into the events per day and kids under 12 get in free.
