Line-Up for the 2014 Cape Town International Jazz Festival

Erykah Badu is billed to lead a star-studded 2014 line-up!

Each year, the Cape Town International Jazz Festival brings music lovers across the world together to enjoy a star-studded line-up of entertainment, and the 2014 leg of this fiesta is no different! Now, in its 15th year, the live music concert series puts forth a glittering bill chock-full of top-notch tune-makers.

The grand dame of afro-soul jazz, Erykah Badu, will headline the annual event along with first-rate international acts, many of which will be making their way to Cape Town for the first time, and local instrumentalists, singers and bands.

Organiser and CEO of espAfrika Rashid Lombard says this year’s line-up is great. “We’ve listened to our fans and we think we’ve got an even more exciting – and crowd-pleasing - festival. After all, it is called Africa’s grandest gathering.”

As always, the epic get-together assembles at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) – on Friday, 28 and Saturday, 29 March 2014 –  and features performances across five stages.
