Get a bit fancy and prepare a 5-course gourmet meal at home with the help of top Cape Town chef Matt Manning. The Grub & Vine boss has created a unique, interactive fine dining experience that includes a package of elements (that can be delivered or collected) for the dishes you’re about to whip together.
A VIRTUAL CHEF IN YOUR KITCHEN
So how is it interactive? Using the items in the package, you’ll create your starter and main courses by following a simple video tutorial from Manning, which will be sent to you after your order is confirmed. The chef assures us that the dishes are easy to make, and three of the 5-courses have already been prepared for you by Manning.
You can also select optional add-ons, such as the wine pairing packages or designer crockery hire.
FROM PAN ROASTED HAKE TO GRASS-FED BEEF
The five courses include a cauliflower and cheddar arancini canape, chicken liver parfait amuse-bouche, pan-roasted West Coast hake starter, a main course of grass-fed beef sirloin, and a dark chocolate torte for dessert. The starter and main courses are interactive.
Vegetarian and pescatarian menu alternatives are also available. Book your virtual dining package online.

Note: Grub & Vine will be back in business on 9 July for lunch and dinner, and The Chef’s Studio will open for private bookings from 10 July. The virtual dining option will still be available once the restaurant opens.
