Jump In The Fishbowl And Get Submerged With GoldFish

The world-renowned duo return from a global tour to take over Shimmy Beach Club

Shimmy’s deck overlooking the Atlantic just screams “summer” and is the perfect sundowner spot. Once night falls, Cape Town’s young hip crowd arrives in droves for the weekend parties, usually with impressive electronic headline acts. During Sundays in December, you can catch SA’s most famous EDM duo, GoldFish, at the vibey GoldFish Submerged events. The five-night showcase happens on 15, 22, 26 and 29 December 2019, as well as 3 January 2020.


GETTING SUBMERGED WITH GOLDFISH
After a long year travelling and playing around the world, Cape Town duo GoldFish is making their annual journey home for the festive season. They’re bringing along the infectious fusion of house, jazz, pop and African music that has earned them critical acclaim and world tours. Catch them for five Submerged concerts on the Shimmy Beach stage.

THAT SHIMMY BEACH EXPERIENCE
The Submerged events are about more than just music. They are sensory and musical experiences that come with world-class production and festival style food. By day the deck is a man-made beach with an infinity pool, beach sand, sun loungers and seating around the edges to admire the view from. When the sun goes down, Cape Town’s young hip crowd comes in droves for weekend parties. It has a stage designed to host major local and international acts with world-class sound, AV and lighting plus, besides Goldfish, it has also hosted the likes of Black Coffee and Grammy-winning DJ Fisher in December 2019.

Ticket prices range between R150 (phase one), R200 (phase two) and R250 (phase three) while VIP tickets go for between R250 (phase one) and R300 (phase 2). VIP tickets give access to a VIP lounge as well as private toilets and waiters services. You can book your tickets via Howler.
